Projecting Videos onto Sculptures...

After this i pinned up a white sheet instead of paper so that i was able to photograph from behind the sheet, that way you can see both the sculptures and the shadows they create..

Below is a piece by Cleary & Connolly, we saw this interactive video piece when we went to Contemporary Dublin, I Want it! Was obsessed with it when i saw it, it traces all your movements, we were running around and dancing infront of it and watching traces of us at the same time, it's genius! "They focus on audience engagement with contemporary art practice, with outreach and community involvement becoming central to their practice.  Their art takes many forms, ranging from interactive video installation to narrative documentary, but it consistently shows a real commitment to creating a bridge between art and our daily existence."

 I projected videos i had done earlier in the project onto the sculptures, can see the way the shapes imitate the movement of the body....kinda! I would love to have it really interactive like the Cleary & Connolly Videos. That as people interacted with the sculptures and the screen, above a video of their movement would be projected back to them....probably be a while before i can do that!
