Adding more colour and making more videos!

 

Adding more colours of the Middle east, wanted the colours to be like the piles of spices you see in the market..nomnomnom

 Photos of sculptures as they move, changing shadows, and interacting with eachother...colour!

 Still trying to keep the idea of the movement of the Arabic script without using it really obviously..

Quick painting from sketchbook, just trying to get some of the depth between the shadows and the sculpture..using colour to bring forward and push back..not quite workin yet :D

Rowan Mersh-Love this guy, he's a textile based sculptor. Slightly more sophisticated then my pieces with tights and wire but similar idea! Like the way he creates form and his use of materials. Also brings me back to what i wanted to do at the beginning, bringing the forms back onto the body. Maybe I'll experiment more with textiles and bringing the sculptures back onto the body!
